As the first leading agricultural University in Cambodia, the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) contributes to the nation's regional and global competitiveness. RUA provides education and research that effectively develops intellectual capabilities, turning young talents into successful professionals and responsible citizens.

RUA has achieved this since its establishment in 1964. Undoubtedly, RUA is a remarkable accredited academic institution offering quality-oriented, modern, and competitive study programs, not only in the traditional fields but also in the emerging disciplines to meet contemporary as well as impending national and regional needs. Courses range from Agricultural Science, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Forestry, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Agricultural Economic and Rural Development, Food Science and Technology, Land Management and Land Administration, and Agricultural Education and Communication -and we are eager to extend our scope constantly. To prepare for the rise of world society, we use Khmer and English as languages of instruction and offer Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. scholarships, exchange programs, and internships abroad. Qualified and successful students will receive an internationally recognized degree from our partners abroad. At the same time, however, RUA actively promotes Cambodia's and Southeast Asia's agricultural practices and cultural traditions.

International Relations has been prioritized as one of the main strategies for developing higher education in Cambodia. The Royal University of Agriculture always welcomes all universities or developing partners for both international and national cooperation. Objective: Developing and Strengthening International Cooperation with all partner universities. Follow by activity: 1) Internationalize academic programs; 2) Strengthen academic services, networking, and social activities; 3) Promote university research and technology stream to the stakeholder and scientific community; and 4) Develop and implement the university communication strategy. 

The Royal University of Agriculture has been developing and strengthening international relations, which has been an important strategy for the University. Developing students', staff's, and researchers' capacity as well.
