May 03, 2024 During April 22-26, 2024, Saarland University welcomed the top management from sixCambodian Higher Education Institutions and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports forthe Kick-off meeting and first Study Visit.The meeting allowed the participants to share experiences and good practices withrepresentatives of the European project partners - Saarland University and University ofAlicante. It also facilitated peer learning and created leadership at strategic level.Representatives from the European Commission EACEA and the German AcademicExchange Service DAAD presented the expectations of the Erasmus+ CBHE program. The main objective of the CHAIn project is to introduce and develop internationalizationstrategies in HEIs in Cambodia. It especially aims at:Consolidating internationalization structures and building human capacities inCambodian HEIs,Accompanying the governance reforms of the Ministry of Education, Youth andSports of Cambodia (MoEYS) andEnhancing international networking through strategic actions in key areas of the Cambodian Higher Education System.This three-year project is a Strand 3 CBHE project, co-financed by Erasmus + KA2.
